Patient Data Protection
Patient data processed through the THB platform is subject to stringent healthcare data protection standards. All patient information is encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 encryption. Column-level encryption protects personally identifiable information (PII). Schema-per-tenant isolation ensures no hospital's patient data is accessible to another organization. Complete audit trails are maintained for every data access.
DPDPA Compliance
THB is committed to compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA). We maintain lawful bases for data processing, honor data principal rights including access and erasure, implement data minimization principles, and maintain records of processing activities. HIPAA Alignment
For healthcare partners requiring HIPAA compliance, THB implements administrative, physical, and technical safeguards as required by the HIPAA Security Rule. This includes access controls, audit controls, integrity controls, and transmission security. Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are available for covered entities.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate our platform (cloud infrastructure, analytics), with hospital partners as part of service delivery, and when required by law. Pharma data partnerships are always consent-driven and use de-identified data. We do not share identifiable patient information with any third party without explicit consent.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations.
